Scoreboard Bar & Grill Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I am torn with this place. It is a good dive bar. The food is really good for a bar. I have never had a bad meal here. The bar itself needs a face lift and the setup is such that you sometimes are subjected to the drunk regulars having an argument. That doesn't really bother me but it might some. The staff is very good and again, you should stop in for a cheeseburger.

We have been living in the the Lake Zurich/Barrington area for years and started frequenting Scoreboard just last year. The food is outstanding, burgers, pizza, wings, nachos, etc. Prices are very reasonable and they have specials on different nights. Best Bloody Mary ever...it is like having a salad in your drink. Quite impressive for a small town bar. Don't expect an updated state of the art type of bar but it is very clean and the service is excellent. Great place to meet friends to watch a ball game and lots of fun, drinks and good food. BTW...there is a small outside patio for those great summer nights.

Small neighborhood joint with maybe 10 tables and a large bar. Food was good ($8 - $10 for a burger and fries), just nothing overly special. We had the potato skin appetizer, that was just OK - certainly not made on site. Tap beer was inexpensive, with a decent selection of craft beers. Our service was friendly, but slow, and the place was only about 1/3rd full. Certainly wouldn't avoid the place, and had the service been better it would warrant 4 stars, but there's a lot of places where you can get a decent burger a beer for $10

This place is the type that every local should embrace. Small place, great service, good food and you can swing by anytime and feel welcomed. They have outdoor seating, a juxebox and very reasonable prices. Food comes out really fast and they have a good selection of beer, surprisingly - craft or your favorite macro brews. You can tell from the outside, you're not walking into some high-class snooty establishment, so just leave those expectations at the door and enjoy this great local spot!

As always the food was great, service is awesome, and you can't beat the price. We have had almost everything on the menu. The burgers, wings and soup are always incredible. They have a Reuben with their own sauce that is amazing. When we go out to eat and want to be guaranteed a good meal this is where we go. Great specials all week. 2 dollar burger night, taco Tuesday, 50 cent wings, Friday fish fry. This is our go to place!

Great burgers. Nice staff. Colorful locals (most of whom belong to the Lions Club). Great place for dinner with the kids, or staying up to watch a game with fellow fans. The Scoreboard is one of the reasons we love Lake Zurich.

We had a Groupon here and I was glad we went. Bars like this are not my usual hangout, but I was a bit surprised and glad to see that it was clean and staff seemed friendly. There was a hockey game on so it was pretty packed, but we called ahead and they had labeled a table "reserved" for us which made me smile :) The food was great-I was not expecting that from a small slightly hole in the wall looking bar. We got nachos that were awesome and by the time our burgers came we were full so we took them home. I cooked them in the oven the next day-the waitress had said their burgers were good and she looked like she actually believed it-and the waitress was right the burger was great too! I should also mention they had hard cider on tap (angry orchard) which is rare. Good food, inexpensive drinks and friendly staff def. makes this place on my list for a return visit.

First time customer and I'll definitely will be back! This is a great neighborhood bar & grill in downtown Lake Zurich. Service is very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Gina pulled double duty as our server and also as the bartender. Great personality. She shared the background of the place and provided info on the mushrooms and burgers. The beer-battered mushrooms are a must-try appetizer! Fresh mushrooms fried in Scoreboard's own beer-batter! Light and juicy! May be the best fried mushrooms I've had. Burgers are GREAT! The meat is sourced from the butcher next door - Orchard Prime Meats. The burgers are made fresh daily. The buns are perfect...soft but strong enough to catch the meat juices. Burgers are served with crinkle-cut fries or homemade coleslaw. Who doesn't like a crinkle-cut fry? The prices are right, too! I'll be back!

A neighborhood bar with an amazing burger (meats come from the butcher next door ) & to die for French onion soup! Servers-bartenders are very friendly and no how to handle tough crowd. A lot of regulars come here and they also have really good drink and food special!

This place is great. Amazing burgers with super fresh meat. Drink specials every night, and they do plenty of community and charity events.

It took a lot of back and forth with calls to Scoreboard and e-mails to Groupon but I did receive a voice message from Stephanie, one of the owners, She was very apologetic about the problem and advised they were issuing a $10 credit to my account for the problems and frustration. The credit was posted to my account today. We did truly enjoy our meal there and do plan on going back again. I would recommend the burgers and the chicken quesadilla....to die for. While it took a lot of effort on my part to resolve my issue they did indeed ultimately come through. I need to change my rating. If I feel strong enough to comment on something negative then I also feel I should comment on the positive. Thanks, Stephanie and Joe.

It's a nice place to watch the ball games. It is small but old. We ordered a pizza and it was below average. The best thing about this bar are the TVs and the cold beer.

Was in town for a sad occasion and met an old friend up here. I never knew this place existed and I've probably driven by many times many years ago. We walked into this neighborhood bar and were immediately greeted by friendly patrons and a friendly bartender. The big screen TV's behind the bar played everything from sports to the news to Cash Cab, which everyone seemed to enjoy. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are great. We didn't get a chance to try the food as we were headed to dinner, but the menu looked good. There's a cute little fenced in area (white picket fence no less) on the side of the building by the main entrance. Apparently in the warmer months it turns into a beer garden. There were no TV's outside, but the audio was piped to speakers facing the beer garden so you can have a cigarette and still keep in touch with what's going on inside. Will definitely stop back in the next time I'm in town. Thank you Scoreboard for brightening my day a bit!

If you are looking for "local flavor", Scoreboard is the place for you. Don't expect any ambiance, but the bartenders are friendly and the food is delish.

I'm not big on bars but only go there for the OUTSTANDING burgers!

Remember the "local tavern"? this is it... except it has loads of flat screen tv's to watch the game on... beer is "ice cold" and prices very reasonable with daily beer / drink specials and food specials as well... Menu has 10-12 or so well prepared items on it from burgers (Patty Melt and Mushroom Swiss are to die for) served with crinkle cut fries which are good, but not a favorite of mine. (reminded me of a hot dog cart) speaking of hot dogs... Sunday's during game time 1.50 Chicago style hot dogs with all the trimmings including sport peppers. Friday fish fry is when I went blue gill which my son and I thought was delicious. Tuesday they have 1.50 taco night 2 and your full either chicken or beef... Friendly staff clean but old world charm.

Was looking for a local place to grab a drink and watch some football while visiting from out of town. Super friendly staff as were the locals. Had the pizza which was awesome. I'd hit this place up if you're looking for a good watering hole or rolling some dice with the locals.

Local sports bar establishment which has good food and cold beer. The wings are the best around and on thursdays they are $0.50! Burgers are delicious and the pizza is also way above average. The owner is usually on hand and staff are very friendly. Great place to watch sports !

Exactly what the place looks like, with better food than you would expect. Neighborhood Bar, very friendly.....Pizza is pretty good, I always lean toward the chicken sandwich's which are all chicken breast, very juicy, very good for bar food...also food specials during the week are good...Taco Tuesdays....Burgers, wings another night.

I went here yesterday for a late lunch with my mom and grandma. We started with drinks. Mimosas and Bloody Marys were on special for $4 and incredibly worth it. The Bloody Mary came with all kinds of garnish! We split a Cobb salad and it was really good with a lot of ingredients (bring on the blue cheese and bacon...yum). I was already full after my half of the salad, but we had an Italian Beef Pizza on the way. The pizza had a to. Of ingredients it as well. My grandma had the French Onion soup which was homemade and she really enjoyed! I loved the atmosphere of this small town bar. Every seemed to know one another at the bar. The atmosphere was a typical small dark bar, but it is a hidden gem! Our server was super friendly and amazing. I wish I remembered her name so I could give her due credit!!!

What a great find. I have heard about this place for years. I knew that it had been sold but the original family now has ownership. I was there on a Sunday when Bloody Mary's and half price pizza were the specials. I am pretty particular about my Bloody Mary, but I have to say they nailed it complete with extra horseradish, olives and celery. The pizza was excellent. I had the roast beef, onion and giardiniera on hand tossed. The crust was tasty and the toppings abundant. Also had the Cobb salad and the server knew we were sharing and was kind enough to bring it out on two plates. Service was EXCELLENT and the bartender kept the crowd of locals happy. I plan on returning soon to try their Friday Fish Fry which I heard was great!

On our first visit we were expecting the usual glitzy suburban sports bar and were a bit shocked to find a somewhat rundown local bar. After reading many good reviews we decided to give it another try and, as a result, can give it an additional star. Once you know what it is, the place is kind of homey. Service was friendly and the burgers and fries were very decent.

This is a hidden gem in Lake Zurich! Do yourself a favor and stop in to this local favorite. Their fish fry on Fridays is one of my favorites. Their daily specials are always fun and different and their soups are spot on! Friendly staff and the best owners around. And you can't beat the prices. Some of the best prices around!

Not our first visit to Scoreboard, but if it was, probably would not return. My wife and I waited almost :25 for our chili appetizer (which by the way, was very good), but the taco I ordered after it came to the table first. The Italian Beef was also very good, but was served "dry". We had to find our server (who was always professional and apologizing for the poor food delivery) and request a little "au jus". Overall, the food was fine and our server was friendly. The restaurant comped our next two cocktails and our server comped our chili, but the execution of our food order from placing:delivery needed a lot of improvement last night.
